Informing Consultation Table
The informing consultation table has started to work at the central library and information center of Ferdowsi university of Mashhad since October 2013. This service was set up to meet informational needs of the clients, helping and consulting in librarial affairs and informing to reach educational and researching goals. Experts and librarians cooperate with the consultation table are ready to meet the informational needs, guiding and directing the clients to different sections of the library, helping in research affairs, recovering resources, using online resources, informational bases, quick teachings, etc.
One of the services provided in this table is responding to the questions of students, professors and staff who can’t refer to this unit for reasons. Clients can ask their questions via online chat placed at the library site and receive their answers quickly.
The consultation table is placed at the main entrance of the library on the ground floor in which there is the possibility of communicating with this table via telephone, Email and chat.

The Central Library and Information Center of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad Membership Conditions
Different Groups and Users
First Group: Working, Retired and tuitional faculties of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad
Second Group: Students of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in different levels
Third Group: Working and retired official, casual, insured and contract employees of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad
Fourth Group: Clients from out of the Ferdowsi University of Mashhad including experts and researchers of universities, organizations, libraries, governmental and non-governmental organizations if the central library and information center agrees and based on the approved contract.
Membership Conditions
The first three groups join the library automatically on arrival at the university.
Fourth Group: Natural and legal members are recruited based on signing a contract, filling in the membership form and paying the approved membership fee. (The membership fee is determined on the beginning of each year by the central library and information center).
Note:: For recession of borrowed books or compensation of the probable damages, retired and tuitional faculties and retired staff have to fill in the warranty form verified by the concerned reference at the university. (The warranty form has been put on the forms section of the site and the warranty verifier reference for faculties is the educational deputy of the faculty and for the staff is the university staffing or the concerned unit manager.)
Membership Credit
First Group: A) For working faculties: until working at the university/ For retired professors: it is renewable until 5 years after the retirement date.
B) For tuitional faculties: until the end of each semester.
Second Group: Until the end of the education.
Third Group: For official employees until end of employment for casual and contract employment until the end of the contract. For retired staff : it is renewable until 5 years after the retirement date.
Fourth Group: According to the content of the contract and determined by the central library and information center.

Having the conditions below is necessary for liquidating the dissertations. (Without conditions 1 to 3, liquidation and even delivering the book bound version are not possible).
1. Signing up on irandoc website ، obtaining tracking code and sending files on the site. (Guideline of signing up on irandoc)
The tracking code must start with digit 2 and be a 7-digit number) ( A code starting with digit 1 is related to proposals recording)
2.Registering the dissertation on the student portal. (Guideline of registering on proposal)
on the student portal, the irandoc tracking code, Persian abstract, English abstract and files must be saved)
3.Verification of files student saved on the portal by the guiding professor(via the guiding professor’s portal)
4. Delivering one book bound versionto the university’s central library, the dissertation liquidation unit (The conditions of the book bound version)
Important note: You are able to refer to the unit for liquidation when the term “Sending to the dissertation expert” or “verified and waiting for the book bound version” be stipulated at the library’s condition.

Liquidation of the Lending Unit
1- Students:Liquidation is automatically verified electronically in the case of not having book debt or delay penalty and via the student portal (the request direction: student portal- educational section- graduation liquidation). If the member is debtor, the liquidation request will be verified automatically after eliminating the debt.
Note 1: : Those students who are members of the library of the university of medical sciences must deliver the concerned Liquidation Form to the lending unit of the central library of Ferdowsi university of Mashhad after verification of the university of medical sciences (located at the university’s campus) so that the liquidation request is verified automatically.
Note 2: Higher education students must send the liquidation via irandoc website in the case of being member of the Ghadir project. Moreover, the Ghadir project membership card must be delivered to the lending unit.(Guideline of liquidating the Ghadir project )
2- Professors and Staff of Ferdowsi University: . This group must refer to the central library and information center verbally to liquidate.
Attention: The respectful members should check the lending card and amount of the delay penalty before liquidation by referring to the portal and carry out the necessary attempts regarding it.
Those students who are members of the library of the university of medical sciences must deliver the concerned Liquidation Form to the lending unit of the central library of Ferdowsi university of Mashhad after verification of the university of medical sciences (located at the university’s campus) so that the liquidation request is verified automatically.
